Monika Grundmann

Even as a child, Monika Grundmann wanted to be a massage therapist. However, after leaving school she fell into an office job and belatedly completed her beauty therapy course while working. She soon realised that her interest lay not just in the physical, but in all aspects of the body – the person as a whole. She studied psycho – physiognomy and completed her training as a non-medical practitioner.

As a result of her training in the use of cosmetics Monika Grundmann was already very experienced in the power of touch, but she was now searching for a way to use touch as a positive influence on the whole person. She looked at Shiatsu, aromatherapy massage, Bach flower remedies, colour and sound treatments, and other areas, but training in crystal therapy with Michael Gienger finally brought her a better understanding of gems and their healing properties. She then began incorporating crystals in her own treatments in various ways.
