Even as a child, Petra Kühne would paint in her own small world surrounded by the beauty of nature. Art became her refuge while studying sociology and working in various publishing houses. When she began to illustrate card sets for Chuck Spezzano and her images became increasingly popular throughout the world, she began to understand these painted soul landscapes as inner, archetypical realities that she could share with the world. Eventually, she decided to dedicate herself entirely to her vocation as a freelance illustrator, translating the written word into works of art in her “dream world” studio.
